In 21st century Australia, no child, adult or family should be unable to access the medical, dental and social support services they need to ensure a healthy life.

While conventional models of healthcare practice are currently delivering positive outcomes for most of the Brisbane population, a growing body of evidence has highlighted that mainstream primary health, dental and emergency services do not work well for highly disadvantaged and marginalised populations.

The Inclusive Health Clinic is dedicated to ensuring that people experiencing disadvantage in Brisbane have good physical, dental and mental health, and access to high quality, holistic healthcare services irrespective of their ability to pay.

Together we can make a real difference. Whether you are donating $2 or $2,000, donating towards the Inclusive Health Clinic is an investment in our community.

Inclusive Health Partnerships Ltd was registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) in September 2015. We are a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

    Isn’t the clinic government funded?

No, the clinic is not government funded at this time.

A capital investment in donations allowed us to fit-out the clinic to start work. But we need funding to meet the costs of ongoing operations.

A recent evaluation of the proposed Inclusive Health Clinic model was conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). It calculated that the financial benefits to the Queensland Government, based on an operational investment of $950,000 for initial start-up funding for the first year, would deliver a projected $2.47million return. The saving would be made by attracting people away from high cost emergency care such as ambulance and hospital in favour of local, lower cost, preventative clinic care. The same study identified a potential return of $13.4million over 5 years, based on a $3.9million investment in the Inclusive Health Clinic over the same period of time.

So we think it is a good investment.

To date, the clinic’s operations are 100% dependent on donations and grants from supporters.

This is your opportunity to make a real difference, close to home, with individuals and families who need a little help playing catch up to level the playing field and access the health opportunities many of us take for granted.

  • + - Volunteer

While we have only recently opened, we hope that volunteers play a vital role at the Inclusive Health Clinic in the future.

We envisage a range of volunteer opportunities will develop as we roll out additional services and grow the number of people we are able to support.

If you would like to register as a future volunteer with the clinic please email Amanda van der Wegen at Micah Projects.

  • + - Become a Major Supporter

The Inclusive Health Clinic is dedicated to filling the gap for people who face barriers in accessing mainstream healthcare services and who experience the impacts of health inequality.

Our mission is informed by the social determinants of health and, as such, we are committed to providing integrated primary, dental and mental health services which are high quality and holistic, irrespective of ability to pay.

Together, through the clinic, we can make a real difference.

A capital investment in donations allowed us to fit-out the clinic to start work. We are most grateful to our Major Supporters to date:

We are also grateful to Praktika for their kind donation of our Dental Practice management software.

As the clinic is not government funded, we are 100% dependent upon donations in order to meet the operating costs for the clinic.
